Brighter Days

Hello My Friends.  Today I have a rather quick post for you and a bit of exciting news..at least for me it's exciting.  Today I got myself a white Samsung Galaxy III and I am truly loving it.  Its small, lightweight and just plain sexy (if a phone can be called sexy) and I purchased a cute cover to go along with it. Very professional looking and sleek as well.  So not much crafting was done today..too busy playing with my new phone, but I did manage to get two cards finished today that I had been playing with off and on for the past couple of days so I'll share those with you.

Before I do, I would like to ask you to encourage your scrapbooking friends to visit my blog and perhaps enter my challenge.  So far I have cardmakers sharing their works with us but not the scrappers...I know there are talented scrappers out there and I would love to see their work, so please spread the word to all your friends.

Okay so much for favors.  Moving on to my cards.  Sorry folks but I don't have a photo of the inside of the first card but I used the same paper and pretty much the same layout on both panels of the inside.

Card Supplies:
DP: Mariposa

CS: Recollections
Spellbinders: Classic Circle and Small Scalloped Circle
Ranger Archival Ink
Martha Stewart: Monarch Butterfly
EK Success: Scalloped Border

I am entering this card in the following challenge:

Here is a second card that took a couple of days to finish.  I was just too excited about getting a new phone.  Don't misunderstand I loved my Epic and there was nothing wrong with it, but getting a new phone as a gift does make one change their viewpoint just a bit.  Well on to my second card, which is actually a Halloween card.

 Card Supplies:
DP: Authentique
K&C: 3-D embellishment
Spellbinders: Nestabilities
Embossing folder
Distress Inks

As you can see I used the same paper to decorate the inside and leave room for a personal message.

I get a kick from designing the inside and I just recently began to add my signature block on the back of my cards.

I am entering this card in the following challenge.

Fabulous card Lesia - love the colours you have used, especially in the first one. I am afraid I do not do much to the inside of my cards, and I do admire the totality of your cards.
Blessings

Your cards are always fabulous inside and out. I usually just add a small stamp or some sort to the inside.
