Excitement Overload

This week has been moving rather slow for me but beginning with last night through today I have had enough excitement to last through the rest of the year.  First yesterday I awaken and prepare for work as always only to hear the crashing sound of metal as I lifted my garage with the intent to leave my home.  There was a fender bender, and it just happened right in front of my driveway blocking my exit.  I attempted to get the owners to move their vehicles so I could leave.  They were so angry at each other I think they forgot English, because as the guy backed up, he proceeded to hit a parked vehicle..wow. I was stunned but continued to back out and head for work noticing my neighbor was looking at his car with his arms flying all in the air.

So now I'm on my way to the intersection which is less than a block away, and I kid you NOT, there was yet another accident.  So there I sat waiting for the cars in front of me to realize that they needed to maneuver around the accident...don't folks think these days?  Is thinking against the law? Finally after what seemed to be forever an officer appeared and began to direct traffic around.  Well now I really needed to hurry if I planned on getting to work so I decide to take the interstate.....WHY DID I DO THAT????

Traffic wasn't moving at all due once again to another accident so up on the ramp above the non-moving traffic I could see for miles around and no one was going anywhere fast.  I turned on the radio to find out that the problem was..yep...an accident!  Anyway it took 20 minutes to go one mile but that gave me an opportunity to make my own path down the embankment...like others were doing.  Well finally I am about 5 minutes from my office and all is well....well not really because my fuel light began to beep indicating I needed to get gas.  I felt like crying at that point but I made it to the station just in time because my car turned off inches from the pump.

So that was my day...oh I got the gas and did make it to work an hour late and dared anyone to ask me where I had been...all I wanted to do was make it to my meeting on time.  This wasn't the end of my excitement but I'll finish my story later because I want to post a couple of cards for challenges.

I created a few cards last night and a couple tonight although I suffered through excitement after excitement.  I'll tell you about the flickering lights and the dishwasher from hell later...because at the moment I just want to get at least started on entering my cards in a few challenges.

I want to enter this card in the: DS4J: DT Project Challenge #52-You're Tagged:  The Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything GoesVintage Elusions-Autum Colors Anything Goes

For this card I used Bo Bunny Ec'Cetera Designer Paper, Maya Road Chipboard Shapes and Offray Ribbon.

I inked my edges using Distress Inks and then added stitching around the pieces. I inked the tag and then stamped an Hero Arts image using Saddle Brown Stazon.

The image is from Tickled Pink and she is colored with Copic markers.  Lastly I tied so bakers twine around the bottom.
I decorated the inside to match the front but was in to much of a hurry to post a photo. Hope you like this card and I will add the others later.  I think I have had enough of excitement and it's time to set the alarm clock and shut these eyes of mine.

Thanks for stopping by, I'm always pleased to hear from you.

Gorgeous card. Totally not the type of day you want to have however... yikes... What's the chance in all those accident being in your way. It's a good think you were not involved in any!

How in the world were you able to produce such a beautiful card after all that? I guess you can say you were blessed because you were not personally involved in any of the accidents.
