I have also started to practice with my sponging, braying and masking techniques, and I have a few cards to share. This weekend my crafting buddy stopped by and we made a couple of really quick cards using sponging and masking techniques. That was fun but I will share those cards another day.
Today I want to share a few others that I have been playing with. There were all pretty quick and easy to make so when I need a few cards in a hurry I will know just what to do.
So without further ado here are a few clean, simple and easy cards that you too can do in less than an hour. Hope they will inspire you and perhaps make you smile.
For this card I used a stencil and copic markers to transfer the leaf onto the card front. I liked the simplicity of it and thought it would make a good sympathy card or even a card of encouragement.
My second card took a bit more planning although it was still quite easy to make. I used sponging, braying and masking to get this scene. The setting sun was masked and then sponged.
The background was created using a brayer and three different colors of Stampin Up Classic ink pads (that I borrowed from my buddy Joyce of "My Enchanted Paper Creations").
My next step was to create a template and finish the background with a bit of sponging to create a hilly scene. And lastly I removed all masks and stamped my greeting and stems using archival ink.
My final card that I will post today was again super easy and I think it is super cute. I saw one just like this on pinterest and decided to give it a go.
I first stamped my image and then for masking I used painters tape to create my area for sponging. Once the sponging was complete I removed the mask and used my "stampamajig" to stamp my greeting just where I needed it to be. If you don't have one of these things then I recommend you check it out.
Well my wonderful crafting friends out there in crafting land that's all I have for tonight. I thank you for stopping by and hope you will visit again.

What wonderful cards Lesia - sponging and stenciling are such effective means to add an image or background to a card, and often so quick.
