A Bit More Sponging

Hello my friends.  I am back again to share with you more cards using sponging and masking techniques.
When I started this technique it was just to fill up some time but now I am loving it and anxious to move up to more complicated combinations, but until I master this I'll be happy with what I can do.

I am sharing a card that I created several times and simply changed the greeting.  This would make a great variety card set.  Perhaps I will end up making a set of these.

Here are the first three that I've completed.  The three greetings are "Thank You" "Hello There" and "Thinking of You."

To create the card I first made a template for the oval and then using dye inks I started to sponge the sky.  Next came the grass and on one I added a few rocks (thinking of you).  Once everything was sponged to my liking I removed the mask and stamped the tree and the greeting using archival ink.

I designed the inside as well but didn't take any photos.  I kept it really simple and added a faded image of the tree to the left panel.

I am entering the following "Anything Goes" challenges:

Simply Papercraft - Anything Goes
Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes
Creative Artiste - Anything Goes

Brown Sugar - Anything Goes
Alphabet Challenge - I for Ink it Up

Beautiful!! Those scenes you sponged are fabulous and are the perfect background for those images. Thanks for playing with Jo's Scrap Shack.

What beautiful cards Lesia, your sponging is fabulous and the tree so lovely with it's bare branches.
I was following you around the challenges, and kept wanting to see your blogpost :-)
