Hello again everyone. I have been totally mesmerized by the Folio that was a frenzy a couple of years ago but for me its a frenzy now and I have been truly inspired.
There is one steampunk folio I discovered on youtube that was definitely OTT (over the top) and I think Tim Holtz should give the designer of that folio a few free gifts because she used all Tim Holtz or Ranger products in creating her masterpiece. Her YouTube channel is Art of Craft NZ (I think her name is Diane) and I recommend you check out her work if you like Tim Holtz or Steampunk. Click the link to her blog.
Now on to my latest folio. My folio is very simple but it will hold quite a bit of photos.
The front of my folio is rather simple. I used Graphic 45 Communique Collection throughout the whole folio. I added a few words created with Tim Holtz Thinlit Die #660218, a piece of scrap corded ribbon and a trinket. My closure is a simple wrap-around (not sure what they are called) created by using a circle punch and small eyelets.
When you open the folio you have three sections, and the center section has two additional flaps. I created two pockets for tags and wallet size photos on the left and on the right I created a waterfall capable of holding 15 photos sized 4 x 6 with a magnetic band holding them all in place.
On this photo you see the two center flaps opened. I decided to create little pouches with flaps for holding more photos or any other small item you want to keep. In the center I added two pockets large enough for the standard 5x7 portrait as well as two inserts that will also hold a 5x7 portrait on the front and back if desired.
The photo above show one of the pouches open with a photo that was trimmed down to size 3.75 x 5.75. The pouches will hold up to 6 photos this size easily along with any journal tags or smaller photos.
Lastly I am showing how you can add the 5x7 portraits to the center inserts and the 4x6 standard photos in the waterfall. I also included a few wallet size photos to the side pockets and the pouches. All in all this folio will hold up to 40 photos of various sizes.
Finally I added a photo of the back of the folio just for grins and giggles. This folio was inspired by Tim Holtz small folio but was created completely with #110 lb. black cardstock by Bazzill.
The tutorial I followed was by Kona Raven which I have included below for your convenience.
Well everyone that is all I have for tonight.
I hope this wasn't a bore and that perhaps it inspired
you to try this out for yourself if you haven't already.
So until next time keep crafting
and I hope you'll stop by again real soon.
Sending hugs from Texas

Hi Lesia - I have been thinking of you today as I was using some flowers you once sent me in some blog candy - the first I ever received. :-).
Love your folio - the colours are textures are fabulous. Diane of Artful Crafts lives about an hour away from me - I have done one of her on-line classes and she is inspiring
