Hello everyone, hope each of you celebrated the 4th with family and friends, or maybe you opted to celebrate with that one special someone to share the beauty of the night with firecrackers bursting in the air spilling color all around and a gentle smooth taste of wine to relax and soothe the soul. Regardless to your choice I hope it was what you anticipated, needed and wanted to celebrate your day.
To continue the celebration I have a Red, White and Blue card to share. Its a 4th of July card but I think it could work as a birthday card as well especially if your birthday happens to be on the 4th (smiles). The USA could be replaced with the individual's initial to make it a more personalized card. Wanna see what I mean??? well just keep going.
Again I decided to use very little embellishments and basic Recollections card-stock.
The stars were cut using a Sizzix star die and a star brad to keep the layers together.
I also used some ribbon that I had in my stash to provide separation on the card and add another focal point.
The U.S.A. letters are standard letter stickers that I popped up on foam tape to create dimension.
On the inside I layered one side to follow the Red, White, and Blue theme and added a star in the corner for added focus.
This was a very simple and quick card to make and I would like to enter it in the following challenges:
My Sheri Crafts - #160 Happy 4th of July (7/10)
Less Is More - Red White Blue (7/10)
A Gem of A Challenge - Red White Blue (7/25)

Striking and elegant card with lots of attention to detail and fun layers.
Sadly both ATCAS and Less is More are Clean and Simple challenges so your card has a little too many layers and elements for this genre. Thanks for sharing though and hope you'll play along again sometime.

Less is More & ATCAS
What a fab and fun card! Sadly, as Sarah has already said, we are a clean and simple challenge and it doesn't meet our guidelines.
I do hope you'll stop by and play with us again :)
Thanks
Anne
Less is More
A wonderfully eyecatching card. As mentioned by my teamies though, we prefer simple designs and some white space on our entries at Less is More.
Thanks for sharing with us.
