Place in Time Part 2

Hello Everyone, I am back with part two of my Place in Time Card Project, and they all turned out just too cute.  This time instead of giving you a peak at the envelope liners I thought perhaps I would share the inside of my cards since they are unique. However, I did continue with my handmade envelopes and liners that matched the DP used on the front of the card.

Like my previous post I will start by showing the sketch that Gloria designed for this group of cards.  Sending a shout out and kudos to Gloria once again for a fabulous project.  If anyone wants to join in a fun challenge please visit Gloria's blog and browse around.  She has some lovely creations to inspire you.

Anyway here's our sketch:

And now for my cards.  I'll start with all three and then show them again individually as well as the inside.

Above you see all three second quarter cards
 - April, May, and June

First up is April with colors that are a muted repeat of fall.  You have your oranges, yellows, greens, and browns.  I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this, but I did.  Anyway I think by adding the umbrella and the ducks definitely represent April showers that will bring on the May flowers.

Before we look at May let me first state that the inside really is purple/lavendar but my lighting went out as I was taking these pictures so the colors are a bit off.  I do love the flowers on the window sill and the doves are a nice touch.  May is when the butterflies break free to show the world how what was once considered ugly can turn into a thing of beauty when given the chance.

Finally we have the month known for its wedding...The month of brides of course is June thus we get the phrase "the June Bride".  This is when Mother Nature seems to be kind 90 Percent of the time with tolerable temperatures, gentle breezes and just a sprinkle of rain here and there to keep the earth moist and green. This month is the last hooray before the onset of the heat waves and more.  Love love love the colors Graphic 45 chose to represent this month.

Of this set of cards I think June is my favorite month but creating them all is a blast.  You should join me in this project.  You can grab instructions in .pdf format for this card series by clicking the following link.

Well that's it for tonight...don't forget to join the challenge before the 15th when we select our first winner and if you miss the deadline come on back before the 30th for a second chance to win.

Thanks for stopping by and hanging out with me
Your comments are always appreciated so tell me what you think about  my project.

Sending hugs your way
