This was absolutely the best weather weekend!  I awaken to degrees in the high 50's, perfect for taking my Yorkie for a quick stroll around the block and then being able to sit on my patio for a hot cup of coffee.  I even managed a few minutes in my tub just soaking and relaxing before the water turned cool and forced me to get out and continue the chores of the day.

Throughout the day I went from store to store, relaxing in temperature's that didn't exceed 86 degrees and with a cool breeze coming in from the North it felt cooler than it actually was.  I didn't buy anything other than a few ingredients to finish my dinner, but I had a wonderful time just being out and about.  Even my COPD decided that I deserved a day of peace and I coughed very little all day.  It was wonderful I tell you.

Back at home, I cleaned, did laundry, mopped, vaccummed and even tried dusting a bit.  I had tons of energy...that was generated by pure joy.  To all my crafting friends, I say to you, never take for granted your ability to breathe and go out at your choosing.  Find joy in being able to work in your garden, trim your hedges or even wash your car.  I never thought I would miss being able to do those things until they became almost impossible for me to do.  So this weekend I wore myself out doing all the things I at one time complained about having to do...and I enjoyed every tiring, dirty minute and I smiled with every drop of sweat.

But of course that had to end so after getting the crock pot going with my hearty soup, I went into my haven to play with my paper.  I found the neatest, really easy, mini album to create and I will share that on a later post.  I've finished the structure but now I have to go back and add a bit of interest along with the mats and stuff.

I did create something to share with you guys though, so for now give me your thoughts on my latest card.  Its a purple card that I think turned out really well, although once again I attempted to mimic Alyce's style.  I tell you this determination of mine is going to be the death of me.  Eventually, I'll return to what I know but for now I am mesmerized by her coloring and therefore I mimic.
