Jackson's Digital Expressions Launch Party

Welcome to the Launch Party for Jackson's Digital Expressions.  If you came here from Katya (Katty Xotica's Kreations), then you have landed in the right place.  If not, return to Jackson's Digital Expressions and start the hop there!

 

We are having a BLOG HOP and Design Challenge to introduce our DT members and to introduce many of you to our  Resident Artist, Robert Jackson. We hope you will  HOP along with us, PLAY along in our Design Challenge, and BECOME a new follower!

For the Hop: Follow the path to each DT member's blog. Make sure you leave a comment on each and don't leave until you FIND the MYSTERY LETTER.

When you complete the hop, return to Jackson's Digital Expressions and leave a comment that includes the MYSTERY WORDS.

Each DT member will have a random drawing and will award a prize to some lucky visitor to their blog and at the end of the hop there will be a GRAND PRIZE drawing for those who collect all the letters and correctly Identify the Mystery Words.

For the Design Challenge,  our theme is "Anything Goes" you may submit cards, layouts, altered art, or ATC's. We would love to see you use an image from Fine Arts By Robert Jackson , but it is not required.

Prizes: Grand Prize - Our grand prize winner will recieve 5 digital Images from Robert Jackson and a $15.00 Oozak Gift Certificate.

You have until Sunday, April 15th at 11:59pm EDT to complete the hop and to get your challenge entries uploaded. So, I bet you're ready to start hopping.

How to participate: You can enter only ONE project per challenge, but if you use a Robert Jackson image, your project will count for two entries. New entries only, please, no backlinking

Prizes: A winner will be selected by the Design Team and will win:

1. A gift certificate for 5 digis from Robert's online store

2. and the winner will also be invited to be a Guest Designer on one of our upcoming challenges

We will also recognize 3 additional designers as our Top Three. Normally, we will not give prizes to the Top Three, but, to celebrate our launch, our Top Three this Week will receive a Gift Certificate for one free Robert Jackson Digital Image.

Here are a couple of cards I created using Robert Jackson's images and no the layout isn't mine...I followed the same Sketch for both cards. 

The first image is titled "Lil Cowgirl".  If you like her look in the 'Lil Folks' collection.  I colored her with copics and used Graphic 45 paper along with a Tim Holtz die to give her a Texan look and feel. 

Compare my take with the Sketch that is shown below with my  Second card. The image I selected for my second card is "Phoebe Fishing." This image is located in the collection called "Phoebe's Journey." I replaced one of the bands on the Sketch with the sentiment "Wish You Were Here." Doesn't she look as if she is missing her best friend. 

Can you tell what my letter is....if you guessed "S" you are correct. Add this letter to your collection of other letters and hop along for the rest.
