I created this one the standard A4 size 5x7. The words I found on a poetry site and now I can't remember the name of the site but I am pretty sure of two things; first the author was listed as unknown and second I'm quite sure the author wasn't me (wish I could give the appropriate credit). I used paper from Die Cut With A View (DCWV) and a couple of Recollections flowers. A Martha Stewart border punch, some ribbon and a 3-D butterfly finishes this card. I continued the theme to the inside but failed to take a picture (sorry) :( sobbing.
The second card I designed for a friend used the same verse but was created as a 6x6 square card, that worked well with the layout of the paper I chose.
Bo Bunny 6x6 paper pad and Bazzil Black Cardstock set the stage for this card. The paper was so perfect that all I had to do was add the words and just a touch of love for it to be complete. Not shown is the sparkle I added to the light in the upper right corner. Personally, I think this card could be considered a CAS style card.
The inside uses leftover scraps of trimmed paper along with the reverse side of the same paper used for the front. The addition of a few words and a rose finishes the inside with the same layout design and color scheme. Later, after I took the picture I went back (always an after-thought) and added some diamond glaze to the rose for a shiny effect.
Well now you've seen two of my 10 different Mother's Day cards (Mom, Daughter, Daughter-in-Law, Sister, Grandma, and Friend) and I hope you've enjoyed them. I am now off to get myself some pampering for the next 2-4 hours...you know we seniors enjoy getting ourselves beautified (not really a word) as well. This is one appointment I really look forward to...you know the ones where someone manages your hair, preps your hand and nails, scrubs your feet and toes, massages your face, neck and best of all your aching body!!! I truly love these appointments!! Hopefully, I'll be back tomorrow to post more pictures for you but until then.....
"find beauty in all things and then go create your own"
Thanks for stopping by! I just love it when you do...and your comments are appreciated.

How thoughtful you are to share Mother's Day by gifting cards. It's such a sweet thing to do!
What sweet cards from someone who is obviously a sweet person.
Blessings
