Color Me Chocolate

Finally, Black Friday has passed and Cyber Monday has moved on.  Some of the stories I heard made me glad I chose to wait and take a chance and it actually paid off. I managed to get me a new crafting toy (drum roll please) the "Vagabond" and I am loving it.  If you decide to buy one and you use the Spellbinder Nestabilities you will need to purchase an additional shim to go with it otherwise it will not cut the wafer thin dies.

Now moving on with this post.  It is time to announce December's Challenge but before I do I would like to thank those of you that participated in last months challenge.  I enjoyed seeing your creations and although I didn't get the ten participants we did decide to award Cheryl with November's candy. Again Congratulations to Cheryl.

Now, on to this weeks challenge, and it's the last month of the year for Memas Monthly Challenges! This month is...
                            Color Me Chocolate
this month there is no tutorial and no rule that your project must be a card, so allow your imagination to flow...the only RULES are:
  1. To enter this challenge you must be a follower of my blog
  2. Your project must include Chocolate, White, and one of either teal, red or pink. (Select your combination from the photo shown below)
  3. Create something new and do not link to an old project (aka no backlinking)
  4. Your project must include a sentiment or journaling (for scrapbook pages)
  5. Leave your name and a direct link to your entry using Mr Linky so we can come visit you and if you don't have a blog...just email your entry to Mema using the contact me link and you will qualify for the prize draw

Remember to invite your friends to ensure we get the requested minimum of 10 participants in order to continue the challenges.  Speaking of which, this months lucky winner will recieve:
  • Spellbinders Lacy Circle Nestability Die
  • Daisy Doodles Floral Embellishments
  • Soft Spoken Sentiment Stickers
  • Jolee's Boutique 3-dimensional floral stickers
  • Making Memories rosettes
  • Making Memories Sentiment
  • Floral embellishments by Prima
Now for a few sample cards:

Brown White Pink
I can't take credit for the design and layout of this card totally, because it was inspired by the very talented Bev Rochester of "All things I love".  I saw her card while surfing the net and decided to see how close I could get to hers.  I got pretty darn close but compared to the original I am missing a few things...overall though I am pretty proud.

Brown White Teal

This stamp set is from SU and I kept borrowing it from my scrapbook BFF until I finally purchased my own. I'm pretty sure she is glad I got my own and she can now keep hers in her home where it belongs.

I can't take credit for this card either...since it was designed and created by my grand-daughter and personally I think she did a really good job.

We can't wait to see what you all make!
Happy Crafting everyone and have a great weekend!
Remember to find beauty in all things and ...then go create!

Hello Mema, I am attempting to submit a card for Decembers - Color me chocolate. I don't have a blog and I'm having trouble e-mailing you on this site. Is there another way to submit my card?
