As the title states I am trying to get back to blogging on a regular basis and catching up with my crafting family.  Sometimes when we are busy making plans life just gets in the way and you have to stop and re-plan.  But at the moment I think life is on hold and I can hopefully get back in the groove of things.  I thought the best way to start was to enter a challenge or two and see what happens.  So here is my entry.

I wanted to create a card with a vintage feel so I started out using Kraft card-stock and paired it with shades of brown and blue. I used Spellbinders and Cheery Lynn Designs dies to create my focal point and the doily and added a few Wild Orchid flowers to accent my circles.

The designer paper is a few sheets of paper from Maja Designs that I had stored away in my stash (finally got to use it).  Everything was inked with Tim Holtz distress inks and then a light spritz to add a bit of age. I stamped and heat embossed the greeting and added a few snowflakes to complete the card.
